Seehof in Iznang

A really great kitchen, I was not disappointed by any food!

During a short vacation we were guests at Seehof Iznang for dinner. Overall, the restaurant comes highly recommended. The service is very friendly and quick. The dishes are very tasty and have a good price / performance ratio.

The food was pretty good. The service was ok. You could tell that everyone was pretty stressed. There was a lot of service staff around, but you were hardly noticed. Waitress was annoyed. The bill came to ask only the second time (although we were the last guests). Has pulled so long. eat for there's the star. Since price and taste worked out fine.

Good and friendly! Food and breakfast delicious. Room ok and clean. A bit old. But that makes up for the extremely courteous staff and the perfect compliance with the Corona measures ....

We just wanted to have a drink and a bite to eat, but we were probably late at 13:45: Lunch break from 14 to 16:30 as we were told relatively quickly, kitchen would be closed, even for the soup of the day it would be too late. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop in Iznang, everything either completely closed or it opens later ... And in the Whitsun holidays!

Short for bussines or international guest: No credit cards accepted, breakfast starts not before 8am, kitchen closes at 8.30 pm, 90cm wide bed in single room. German: Cozy hotel with nice, professional service but unfortunately also some downlights and very old-fashioned, but clean rooms. In some ways it feels like a time machine. In the single room a 90cm bed. Wow is that small. Paying with credit card is not possible. Kitchen only until 8.30 p.m. A couple was actually turned away at the next table, on the grounds that tomorrow would be a day off, so the kitchen had already been cleaned. Then breakfast only from 8 a.m.? Really now? Yes! And the ancestral gallery in the stairwell including Nazi uniform and badge rounds off the picture. That I got my ox chop, which I had ordered without herb butter to enjoy it neat, then drowned in gravy without it being on the menu or wanted by me, is almost a side note.

Very nice. Inexpensive, very tasty, down-to-earth cuisine. You immediately feel at home. Not all rooms are 5 star but clean and well maintained, which is very important to me. I would come back here anytime. A family-run company that can be felt in all pores.
